JEE MAIN 25 January Overall Analysis: Unlike yesterday’s papers, today’s shift 1 and shift 2 can be analysed to be easy to moderate. When comparing JEE Main 25 January 2023 morning shift with the evening shift, the morning shift was easier than the other. The subject-wise difficulty level varied minorly, whose details are summarized below. Furthermore, links to the detailed analysis are also provided below, if required. To maintain fairness throughout the examination, there are only minor variations in the difficulty level of the session. Hence, average paper can be expected in the upcoming shifts as well.

For quick summarization, the following are the difficulty levels of shifts 1 & 2 as per the subjects:
- Mathematics: Shift 1 - Moderate to difficult; Shift 2 – Easy
- Physics: Shift 1 – Easy to Moderate; Shift 2 – Easy
- Chemistry: Shift 1 – Easy to Moderate; Shift 2 – Easy
- The average difficulty level of NAT questions is Easy
- As it was expected, there were far fewer theoretical questions in mathematics, average in physics, and most in chemistry.
- Comparatively, the morning shift was lengthier.
- Out of the three subjects, Maths was the most lengthy in shift 1 while in shift 2, all the sections were easy and were not lengthy.
- In comparison with yesterday (day 1), today’s papers were (easier) and (not lengthy).
