SSC CHSL exam for today i.e., 31st May 2022 has concluded. The exam took place in three shifts of one hour each. The timing of each shift was- 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM, 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. SSC CHSL question paper comprises of 100 questions and each question carries 2 marks, so the maximum mark is 200. The question paper consists of 25 questions from each section namely- general awareness, general intelligence, quantitative aptitude, and English language. The question analysis for each section of each shift is as follows-
General Awareness- In shift 1, questions were mostly asked about current affairs, and art & culture whereas in shift 2, static GK questions were asked. Questions related to novel and musical instruments were also asked in shift 2 general awareness section. According to the students, the difficulty level of questions on both shifts was easy to moderate.
Quantitative Aptitude- In the first two shifts, quantitative aptitude questions were mainly focused on algebra, trigonometry, and simplification. Mensuration, profit & loss, and number system questions were asked. The difficulty level of 1shift shift and second shift was moderate.
General Intelligence- General intelligence of both the shifts consisted of mirror images, and blood relations. Most of the questions in shift 1 were asked from number series and BODMAS whereas, in shift 2, most of the questions were asked from a mirror image, odd one out, analogy, and Venn diagram. According to students, the difficulty level was moderate. They found the questions to be tricky and time-consuming.
English Language- In shift 1, English language section consisted of a cloze test, sentence rearrangement, and antonym, & synonyms. In shift 2, the questions mainly came from sentence improvement, idioms and phrases, and spelling correction. This section of the question paper was easier than the rest, as per students.
