Paid Internships at IITs for Engineering Students from SACET

Vanama Ramakrishna Rao, the Secretary of the St. Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology (SACET) , has made an announcement that five of their students have been selected by Internshala for internships at various IITs. Giving additional information on the announcement, Dr. P. Ravi Kumar, the college principal, said that three students — K. S. Kumar from CSE branch, G. B. S. Nagendra Babu from ECE branch and V. Lakshmi Sravani — would be doing their internship from IIT Bombay . He also said that two students namely P. Kavya and L. Siva Sai have been selected for internships at IIT Delhi and IIT Madras , respectively.

SACET is an AICTE-approved institute located at Chirala, Andhra Pradesh. It offers 16 undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses in engineering, computer applications and business administration.

Dr. D.N.V. Syam Kumar, the faculty coordinator at Internshala, reported that the popular online platform has placed more than 100 students from SACET into internships at various prestigious institutes across India. These students will receive tasks online, which they will have to complete and send back. They will be paid a stipend based upon their performance.

The internships are a great opportunity for these students to gain practical work experience and be better oriented to join the industry when they pass out of college.
