The Fee Regulatory Committee for medical courses has confirmed the fee structure for paramedical courses for the academic session 2018-19. The committee has released the official fee structure for Homeopathy, Ayurveda , Physiotherapy and allied courses. As per the new fee structure, the fees for physiotherapy course in 66 colleges ranged from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 3.27 lakh per annum.
Usually, the fee for MBBS course increases 7% to 8% every year, while the fee for paramedical courses increases up to 5% to 6%. The committee maintained a minimal difference in the fees for paramedical courses under government quota and management quota.
Physiotherapy Course Fee Structure 2018-19:
- In some colleges, the fee for Physiotherapy course under management quota is 30% to 75% higher than the fees charged under government quota.
- For example, Fee Regulatory Committee has fixed Rs. 3.11 lakh per annum as the fee structure for Physiotherapy course at Government Physiotherapy College, Vadodara while the fee management quota is Rs. 5.30 lakh per annum.
- Similarly, the fees for government quota seats for the academic session 2019-20 has been increased to Rs. 3.39 lakh followed by Rs. 3.69 lakh for the academic session 2020-21.

Ayurveda Courses Fee Structure 2018-19:
- As far as Ayurveda courses concerned, the minimum fees is Rs. 3.5 lakh and the maximum fees is Rs. 4.81 lakh under state quota admissions.
- However, the fee for management quota has gone up to Rs. 7.18 lakh.
Homoeopathy Courses Fee Structure 2018-19:
- For Homeopathy courses , the minimum fee for under state quota is Rs. 50,000 while the maximum fee is Rs. 1.50 lakh.
- For management quota seats, the fee is fixed at Rs. 1.75 lakh.

Optometry Courses Fee Structure:
- The fee for optometry course has been fixed at Rs. 40,000 (minimum) to Rs. 1,00,000 (maximum).
