Patna University (PU) last week decided upon replacing the numerical marking system with the grading system under the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) to be implemented from the next academic session i.e. 2016-17.
A meeting was held by PG departments attended by deans of faculties, and the principals of colleges under the chairmanship of the VC Mr. Y C Simhadri.
The semester system will provide an opportunity to pupils for continuous learning and feedback /assessment and a better understanding of the subject matter. The semester system will enable more focused student-teacher interaction
