The Rajasthan Patwari Recruitment Exam 2015 - 2016 was held in Udaipur on 13 February, 2016 by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board, Jaipur. The Board has issued 4400 vacancies for the post of Patwari in the state. The Rajasthan Patwari Recruitment Exam was held at across 169 centres, and was attended by approximately 42000 candidates. There were more than 16 flying units for checking. The test was held between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
A Patwari is an administrative officer appointed by the local government or authority to maintain and update land ownership records and undertake the collection of land taxes.
The centres for for the Patwari exam 2016 included:
- Mavli - 17 centres
- Gogunda - 4 centres
- Jhadol - 3 centres
About 16000 candidates took the exam from Bhilwara, 10000 from Chitttorgarh, 2000 from Dungarpur, 6300 from Rajsamand, 6550 from Sirohi, a total of 41,000 candidates had come from outside, the remaining candidates were from Udaipur itself.
