One of the leading design, fashion and creative business institutions of India, Pearl Academy has announced a new collaboration with Torrens University, Australia. The main objective of this collaboration is to share best global practices, deliver industry-leading outcomes for the students of both institutes, promote innovation and cross-border collaboration. The agreement between the two institutes will also promote opportunities for academic and student exchanges, developing new programmes and collaborating in research, particularly in business and design.
Explaining the key aspects of the new collaboration, Prof. Nandita Abraham, CEO of Pearl Academy revealed that creative fields are the fast emerging domains in India, and it has become an exciting career for students of the country. The creative industry has been developing globally, and it is time for the institute to give global exposure to the students. She further added that Pearl Academy also has collaborations with 40 other design and fashion colleges across the globe.

Vice Chancellor of Torrens University, Mr. Justin Beilby indicated that the collaboration between both the institutes aims to provide unique opportunities for academic staff and students to collaborate on transnational projects. The students and academic staff will have a chance to connect with leading industrial experts, fellow educators and peers across the subcontinent.
Mr. Justin Beilby further assured that Torrens University would work towards facilitating genuine opportunities for students and academic staff to work collaboratively in the environment at home as well as abroad.

Torrens University, Australia also has collaborations with various global universities like Real Madrid Graduate, Stamford University and INTI University. The varsity offers various career-oriented programmes in Sports Management, Project Management, Health, Design, Hospitality, Education and Business.
