National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, Telangana has released the application form for PhD programmes and candidates can apply till 22nd May by visiting the official website- www.nitw.ac.in . NIT Warangal is offering various PhD courses in both part-time and full-time mode. The PhD programme is offered in thirteen different programmes-

- Computer Science and Engineering
- Electronics and Communication Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Biotechnology
- Physics
- Chemistry

National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal PhD Admission: Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for different departments are as follows-
Engineering Departments:
- Candidates must have a Master's or M.S degree in the appropriate branch of study.
- They must have qualified GATE or Bachelor's in Engineering/ Technology with valid GATE score. (not compulsory for one-year programme)
- They must have scored 8.0 CGPA or 75% marks in their qualifying exam (7.5 CGPA or 70% marks for SC/ST/ PwD category).
Science Departments:
- Candidates must possess either a Master's degree (in Math, Physics, or Chemistry), B.Tech, M.Tech or it's equivalent degree.
- They must have qualified UGC, CSIR, GATE, NET, or INSPIRE (not compulsory for one-year programme).
- A minimum score of 60% or 6.5 CGPA is a must (For SC/ ST/ PwD 6.0 CGPA or 55% is compulsory).

Humanities and Social Science:
- They must have a Master's degree in the relevant discipline.
- They must have qualified GATE, NET, or UGC (not compulsory for one-year programme).
- 60% or 6.5 CGPA is compulsory for general candidates and 55% or 6.0 CGPA is compulsory for reserved category candidates.
School of Management:
- Candidates must possess an MBA degree.
- They must have qualified in CAT, UGC, or GATE (not compulsory for one-year programme).
- General candidates must score a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA and reserved category candidates must score a minimum of 55% or 6.0 CGPA.
