Chennai Based Company Ramsen Corporation conducted placement drive at Guntur Engineering College on 2-April-2016 by company HR Managers, Mr. Dinesh and Joseph . The interviews were conducted for the mechanical engineering and diploma students of the college. The interviews were conducted in three rounds, where 120 students of the mechanical department participated. Written test, Technical test, and face to face interviews were conducted. The placement drive was inaugurated by college chairman, M.Narasimha Rao . He greeted the students who are appearing for the interview.
A total number of 26 students got placed in the final round of interview . The company officials handed over the offer letters to the students. The College management conducted a press meet to congratulate the students on this occasion. Addressing the press, College principal, Dr.pandarinadh said that, “It’s really a great thing that various multi-national companies visiting the college for the campus placements. A total number of 175 students got placed in the campus placements in the academic year 2015-2016”. He congratulated the students for their success.
M.Dinesh, HR Manager of Ramsen Corporation said that “The students are selected for a package of Rs.1, 50,000/annum. He congratulated the students for their achievement. He appreciated the college management and faculty for bringing out the best from the students.
Students thanked the college management and faculty of mechanical engineering department for their continuous efforts in making students capable of getting jobs. The press meet was attended by college management, HOD of mechanical department and faculty.
