The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K) is all set to organise a three-day international conclave on 'Globalising Indian Thought’ from January 16th to 18th, 2020. The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 16th January through video conferencing. According to the reports, the academic conclave will include the active participation of public figures, scholars and presentations of around 100 world-class research papers. The President of Indian Council for Cultural Research and MP, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will also be present at the event.

Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM-Kozhikode said that the conclave will provide a perfect forum for an academic congregation to discuss India's contribution to the world. It will also include discussion on how India can work on reforming worldviews in the current context. He also added that the event is expected to be a platform for discussing new ideas and overview of many facets of the Indian civilisation concepts. IIM-K had welcomed 'Globalising Indian Thought' as its institutional mission a decade ago. According to the organisers, the mixture of creativity and experience will help the inquisitive minds with an opportunity to view Indian thought from a fresh perspective. The program will also help the thinkers to present an example of their creativity in front of the world.
