Post Matric Scholarships for SC Released by Ministry of Social Justice for the Students of UP & Punjab

The Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment has released scholarships for SC/ST students of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab. The scholarships are approved by Shri Thaawar Chand Gehlot, Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment.

A sum of Rs. 390 Crores have been released by the ministry. Out of this, 217.89 crores have been granted for Punjab and 173.32 crores have been granted for Punjab. It is really happy for the students for the both states who are pursuing education from Post Matric to Post Graduate level. SC students will be getting monthly scholarship under this scheme.

Under this scheme, the SC students will be getting a monthly scholarship of Rs. 230/- to Rs. 1200 depending upon the annual income and category. These funds enable a large number of students of the both states to take up higher education. The ministry has been very active regarding the release of scholarships from time to time. Lots of students of various states are pursuing higher education through the scholarships given by the ministry. These scholarships are enabling the students to pursue education continuously and go for higher studies.
