A sixth-semester student of B.Sc-B.Ed course from the Central University of South Bihar has been offered a national level fellowship, jointly by three institutions of high repute.
The Indian Academy of Sciences – Bangalore, Indian National Science Academy - New Delhi and National Academy of Sciences – Allahabad have jointly offered this fellowship with a duration of 2 months to the student Rohit Kumar. The public relations officer of the university Muddasir Alam confirmed this news about the selection of the student for the fellowship. The student Rohit is pursuing the integrated course with the duration of four years; the course gives dual credit of Bachelor of Sciences and Bachelor of Education to its students.
The three institutes offer "Science Academies' Summer Research Fellowship Programme for Students and Teachers 2016". The student will be able to work with the scientists of the three institutions under this research fellowship, which is both for teachers and students working/ studying in India.
