JNTU-Hyderabad has released its affiliation procedures and regulations for the academic session 2019-20. As per the latest guidelines of JNTU-H, the biometric system must be implemented in all private engineering colleges across the state.
Last year, JNTU-H tried to make colleges implement biometric attendance systems . However, these colleges failed to do the same due to the lack of financial resources. In order to implement biometric attendance system in private engineering colleges from the academic session 2019-20, JNTU-H has informed the colleges almost five months in advance.
At present, biometric attendance is being followed for postgraduate engineering courses. On the other hand, biometric is compulsory for the faculty of private engineering colleges. Colleges seeking JNTU-H affiliation this year must install the biometric system to comply with JNTU-H affiliation procedures and regulations.
