Some of the Government-supported companies conduct their recruitment for higher posts through GATE scores. GATE is the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering for all engineering graduates. This test is mainly conducted to be an entrance examination for all post-graduation courses of Engineering in the country. However, a number of Public Sector Undertaking companies take GATE as a qualifying score to conduct recruitment drives for their engineering posts. Although, GATE is not the only parameter to get PSU jobs in India as it has other stages in their selection processes as well. What is a PSU?
PSUs are Public Sector Undertakings that are Companies funded and supported by the Union Government of India. These companies provide employment similar to the Government's job structure and availabilities.
