QS has released the World Best Student Cities Ranking 2019 . This year, Bengaluru is the only Indian city that featured in the list of top 100 best student cities across the globe. Apart from Bengaluru and Mumbai none of the Indian cities made it to the list of top 100. The overall score of Bengaluru is 81st based on the five parameters of the rankings.
Bengaluru as a city not only has good educational institutes but offers students affordable public transportation and a hearty meal for Rs.150. The housing is also easily available. In the QS World Best Students Cities Ranking Mumbai came to 85 up from 99 in last year's ranking Delhi is down to 113 from 107 and Chennai is up at 115 from 117.
QS, the ranking authority, has ranked the cities on the basis of five parameters: -
