The civil service aspirants express disappointment over the prelims examination as 13 questions out of the 100 questions were related to the schemes launched by PM Narendra Modi. The candidates opined that there are various important topics in Geography, History but the prominence was given to the projects initiated by PM. The candidates did not understand why the prominence was given to the questions related to government schemes.

This year, most of the questions were asked on current affairs. A total number of 18 questions were given to current affairs. The rest of the paper consist of questions related to politics, system and governance and economics.
The commission would have given prominence on subject related questions. Questions on various schemes of government left the candidates confused and nervous.
Only 25% of candidates appeared for examination in Bhopal. Officials said that the candidates did not turn up examination as there was a heavy rain in Bhopal on the day of examination. The outstation candidates were unable to reach the examination centres on time.
