Students who appeared for MHT CET 2016 can now download their rank card and marksheet. DTE Maharashtra had released rank card on May 5. The score is essential for admissions to B.E/B. Tech programmes for engineering colleges of Maharashtra. Admissions will be done on the basis on merit list that will be prepared by analyzing the scores and college preferences of students.
Students will have to enter their MHT CET 2016 application number, password and security key in the portal in order to download their rank cards.
The result was delayed by 4 days. The authorities that conducted the exam had earlier announced the date of releasing the rank card to be 1st June.
The counseling has begun through Centralised Admission Process (CAP) and students have starting registering. DTE Maharashtra will prepare the merit list according to which the seats will be allotted to the students in the respective colleges.
Students aspiring to apply for MHT CET 2016 Counselling will have to register, get their documents verified, select seat and wait for the allocation. Subsequent to the seat allotment the students will have to pay the fee in their respective colleges. Closing ranks or cutoff of all engineering colleges will also be published by DTE, Maharashtra as soon as the counseling is over.
More than 4 lakh students had registered for MHT CET 2016 for admission to various Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy courses offered by various colleges in Maharashtra. The number of students who appeared for the exam was 3,97,768.
