Union Finance Minister assured that India is going to witness new chapters with the implementation of Re-Orientation of Skills Programme, E-Learning and Digital DESH for the students, which will boost their learning process. The National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) will be defining the dynamics of industrial needs and skills required from the present generation. The declaration of the Re-Orientation of Skills programme will include imparting skills to the students’ community based on the dynamics of industrial needs. The programme also enhances the up-skilling and re-skilling programmes for the students. As we are in the twenty-first century, skilled labour is required for the growth of the country. Hence, it is stressed in the Union Budget Meeting.
With the closure of schools and colleges for the past two years, due to COVID-19, the learning process of young minds of our country has been disrupted. A number of challenges are faced by educational institutions in providing online and offline learning initially. Now the country has become aware that learning cannot be stopped, even pandemic could not stop it. With the proposal of E-Learning India is ready to fly to new heights.
Digital Ecosystem for Skilling and Livelihood (DESH), which is e- portal, will be launched very soon. The ultimate aim of launching this e- portal is to empower the citizens of India to skill, reskill and upskill through online training. The portal also caters to find relevant jobs and opportunities for an entrepreneurial ship. The DESH portal will enable the youth to enhance their skills for finding jobs and to fit in the roles.
