National Board of Examinations (NBE) has extended the date for the submission of online applications for NEET PG 2017 . As of now, the last date for the submission of applications is November 7, 2016. The examination is conducted by NBE for the admission to PG Medical courses. The test is scheduled to take place between December 5 & 13, 2016. However, the test for PG Dental Courses will be held from November 30 to December 3, 2016.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the single eligibility cum entrance examination which is conducted for admission to postgraduate medical courses for the academic session 2017.
NEET 2017 will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will comprise of 300 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The questions will be from the MBBS curriculum followed by the various medical colleges in India. The exam also consists of subjects/knowledge areas as per the Graduate Medical Regulations issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) with the approval of Government of India. The duration of the exam is three hours thirty minutes (3 ½ hours).
The results will be declared on January 15, 2017.
Earlier NBE announced that the online registrations for NEET PG 2017 would close on October 31, 2016. However, the date has been extended to November 7, 2016, as the registration process for most of the candidates is underway.
