Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) . CMAT 2021 registration had initially begun on Dec 23, 2020 and closed on Jan 31, 2021. However, the NTA has reopened the application process of CMAT 2021 on Feb 10 and it will continue till Feb 25, 2021. The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) was scheduled to be conducted on February 22 and 27, 2021 but it has been postponed now.
CMAT 2021 is conducted for admission to PGDM and MBA at some of the top B-schools in India . Till 2018, CMAT was conducted by AICTE but NTA took over the exam in 2019 and now it is the sole conducting body of CMAT. Over 70,000 students register for CMAT every year to compete for a seat in management colleges.
CMAT is a three-hour computer-based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension & General Awareness. The exam pattern of CMAT 2021 has been changed and an additional optional section of Innovation & Entrepreneurship has been added to the exam. CMAT 2021 exam will be held in over 109 cities and 245 test centres all over India.
