The online registration process for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) will begin from December 24, 2016. NATA is an entrance examination that is being conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) for the admission to five-year Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) course for the academic session 2017-18. The examination will take place on April 16, 2017. There is no online examination, and the candidates have to take the examination only in offline mode or the pen and paper mode.

The applicants have to note that qualifying NATA is mandatory for the admission to B.Arch course.
Eligibility:
- The candidates appearing for NATA 2017 must be 17 years old
- The applicants must have passed 10+2 or any other equivalent examination
Application Procedure:
The online process of application consists of three stages:
- The candidates have to fill the personal details initially
- The candidates have to upload the necessary documents & image
- The final process is fee payment which can be paid online
- The cost of application is Rs. 1,200

The pattern of NATA 2017 is as follows:
- The duration of the examination is three hours
- The question paper consists of two parts
- Part – I consist of 60 multiple choice questions from Mathematics and General Aptitude
- Each question carries two marks
- Part-II is drawing examination which carries 80 marks
- Two questions will be given, and each question carries 40 marks
- The entire examination is for 200 marks
- There is no provision of negative marking
- In case there is a tie between the candidates, wrong answers will be penalised
