A research paper titled, ` A Critical Analysis of Social Networking Sites , Users of Rural India' , based on a study of rural areas of District Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh was presented by Neha Bhushan at Shri Ramswroop Memorial University .
Neha Bhushan is assistant professor, faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, Institute of Media Studies at Shri Ramswroop Memorial University.
Research paper was presented at the occasion of the 2nd Annual World Conference on Media and Mass Communication themed, `Technology: Its Impact on Media and the way we think and Communicate'. It took place in Bangkok, Thailand; where Bhushan presented her research.
SRSMU has a media centre that aims to produce industry-ready professionals employable not just in print journalism but also in Broadcast and Electronic Journalism, Media Managers in Corporate Communication sector, Film and Television (production and presentation), New Media and other allied media fields.
Students and Teachers also present time to time research paper works to show their work and also bring more focused level of education for students.
The College has two courses for media students, one is BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) which is a 3 Year course and MA (Journalism & Mass Comm) which is a two-year course.
