RVR & JC College of Engineering and Technology is going to organize a four week faculty development program. This program is in collaboration with IIT, Mumbai. The faculty development program is being conducted on the theme, “Use of ICT in education for online and blended learning”.
Coordinator of Remote Center of the college, Dr. MVP Chandra Shekar has given the details of the program. He said, “IIT, Mumbai has given acceptance when the college recommended for faculty development program. Professors from IIT, Mumbai will take part in this program and explain the faculty of the college regarding usage of ICI in education and importance of online education. The program will commence on 16-May-2016 and will continue till 15-June-2016”.
College principal, Dr. Kota Srinivasa Rao said that “Now-a-days the demand for online education has been growing in a rapid way. Online education helps students to understand the concept in a better way. It is very mush essential for the faculty to understand the usage of online education and exploration of various sources through Internet. The faculty will be trained under this for a period of 30 days. The college has been consistently working for the better academic standards”.
