Lucknow's Samridh Joshi is one of the top scorers in this year's Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) ,with 308 marks, Samridh Joshi has top scored in Lucknow in JEE Main .
Elated over this achievement, Joshi said the bigger challenge will be to excel in JEE Advanced. He added that he only concentrated on Advanced and was never really worried for JEE (Main) because he was sure that he will do well in the qualifying examination.
His father VD Joshi is a government servant. “I was from ICSE and ISC board. But the competition was heavily tilted towards NCERT-CBSE syllabus. But calculated hard work with meticulous planning, no shortcuts to the preparations and the clarity of concepts in all subjects rendered by excellent FIITJEE faculties have contributed to this achievement,” Joshi, a student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar branch, said.
Joshi, wants to study computer science at either IIT Mumbai or IIT Delhi. He said that he was expecting to score at least 330 but the paper this year was tough. “I could have scored more than 100 in mathematics,” he added.
