37 students from various premier Business Schools in India got a chance to intern with Samsung at their headquarters in Gurgaon. The interns will work for the next 2 months on live projects across verticals within the company.
Samsung has hired interns from the top business schools in India. Mostly the IIM’s are in the top favourite hiring institute list of Samsung. The tech giant has till now hired 37 students as interns belonging from institutes such as IIM Calcutta , IIM Bangalore , IIM Lucknow , IIM Kozhikode , XLRI Jamshedpur , IIM Ahmedabad , and MDI Gurgaon for their summer internship project which is called ‘Inspiring Growth and Nurturing Interns Towards Excellence’ or shortly IGNITE.
The summer internship project IGNITE at Samsung is 2 months long. The students who opted for internships will receive industry training and exposure from Samsung. They will also gain hands-on experience by working on live projects in the company verticals.
Under the programme, the 37 interns will be under constant monitoring from the Samsung high ranked officials to evaluate their work efficiency. The senior leaders of the company will also hold an induction program with the interns to develop good communication and familiarity with them before the commencement of the internship.
The head of Human Resource at Samsung India, Sameer Wadhwan said that in the next two months, the interns will learn the functioning and culture of Samsung and its business in India. It will also give them opportunities to contribute to the operations of the business of the company and sharpen their skills for their future endeavours.
The tech giant says that ‘People’ are valued in Samsung above everything. The company gives its people full opportunity to utilise their skills and also has an excellent infrastructure in the office.

The interns experienced the grandeur of the Samsung headquarters located on the Golf Course Road in Gurugram (Gurgaon) during the induction process. The company expects the interns to be energetic, youthful and full of potential. Samsung also introduced the interns to the Samsung products and technologies at the briefing centre of Samsung India office.
