The dates for the Civil Services Examination (Main) 2016 have been announced by the Union Public Service Commission. The commission declared the detailed schedule of the examination on its official website. Only candidates who have qualified the Preliminary Civil Services Examination will be allowed to give the Main Examination. Candidates can check the result of the Preliminary Examination which was declared on 16 th September’ 16 on the official website of UPSC. Final selection will be done on the basis of a candidate’s performance in Main Examination and interview.

Dates to Remember:
- The Civil Services Main Examination will take place from 3 rd December’ 16 to 9 th December’ 16.
- On 4 th December’ 16 (Sunday) and 8 th December’ 16 (Thursday), no exam will be conducted.
