A scholarship program has been introduced by the UAE Exchange India, a leading financial services firm to help over 500 students who belong to the economically weaker sections of the nation. Rs. 20 lakh have been slotted by the company for the financial year 2016-17, as per the press release made by the company. Students who are studying in class 5 to 10 can apply for the scholarship.
V George Antony, Managing Director, UAE Exchange India, introduced the scholarship programme and said that their aim is to help students from economically weaker sections to get an appropriate education. He also said that any kind of motivation in the field of education will help the students to perform better. He also said that the firm will keep contributing to the cause in order to help students get a quality education.

For the time being, UAE Exchange India is providing scholarships to students studying in the government schools of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane region. Students who win will have to produce excellent results.
Principal/Head Master, Vice Principal and Parent Teacher Association will be responsible for deciding winners among the students by the end of the academic year based on their performance in academic curriculum as well as based on attendance. Winners from each standard will be awarded cash prizes and a certificate from UAE Exchange, mentioned the press release.
