Schools and Colleges Holiday in Tamil Nadu 4 December 2023: Schools and colleges in various parts of Tamil Nadu will remain closed on December 4 as the government has decided to give a holiday due to cyclone Michaung. Tamil Nadu is expected to receive heavy rainfall on December 3 and 4 due to the cyclone. Several district authorities have started announcing the school and college holiday one by one and more updates on school holidays will follow. Students can keep checking for the latest updates.

Tamil Nadu has been receiving heavy rainfall for the past few days, and the situation is expected to remain the same till December 4 or 5. Heavy rains due to the cyclone have been impacting the academic session of various schools. Chennai has been worst hit due to the rains, and there were heavy rains in this region on December 3 as well.

During the first and last week of November 2023, schools remained closed in several parts of Tamil Nadu due to heavy rains. This is the fourth time in the last one month where schools have been declared a holiday.
