Calcutta University conducts entrance examination for the admission to LL.M course. The candidates who have completed B.A. LLB (Hons) at Calcutta University or any other university can apply for the entrance examination. The candidates might have doubts relating to selection and counselling process. Therefore, the selection and counselling process for LL.M course at Calcutta University is given below.
Selection Process: -
- The applicants must note that 50% of seats in LL.M course are reserved for the candidates who completed B.A. LL.B from Calcutta University.
- The selection of other candidates will be based on entrance test that is conducted by Calcutta University.
- The seat allotment is done on the basis of merit.
- The seat allotment will be done during the counselling process.
Counselling Process: -
- The candidates who have qualified in the written test will be called for the counselling process.
- The seat allotment will be done as per the score secured by the candidates in the written test.
- The seat allotment for the candidates who completed B.A LLB course at Calcutta University will be done as per merit, i.e., the marks they secured in B.A. LLB course.
- The candidates need to attend the counselling with all the relevant documents.
