Once the GITAM Admission Test (UGTP) - B. Tech results conducted by GITAM University are out on its official website, and the merit list is displayed, students will need to register for the Counselling process.
GITAM Admission Test (UGTP) Result:
- To view your result, you will need to input your Hall Ticket no and Date of Birth and then click on ‘submit’ to view your rank basis GITAM GAT.
- However, if you have given the online GITAM Admission Test (UGTP), you would already know your scores. The position of merit will be calculated on the basis of programmes, subject to the fulfillment of other eligibility conditions.
- Counseling usually begins in June. It is mandatory for candidates who qualify to attend the counseling session by conferring choices on merit basis.
How is the Merit List for Admissions Calculated?
- It is based on the score obtained in the GITAM Admission Test for B. Tech subject to reservation rules as set by the UGC guidelines and norms applicable to the University.
Note* - It is mandatory to fulfill the minimum marks required to qualify the exam as per the eligibility criteria.
- Students belonging to the state of Karnataka are entitled to a 25% reservation for admission at the Bangalore campus.
Counselling Process at GITAM University for Admission to B. Tech courses:
You should attend the Online Counseling with Call Letter by downloading from university website at any of the following centres for admission to B.Tech. / 6 Year Dual Degree (B.Tech. + M.Tech.) / B.Arch. / B.Pharm / M.Tech. / M.Pharmacy programs.
