Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2023 : Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has started recruiting candidates for executive trainee positions. The Power Grid Recruitment commenced on January 16, 2023, and is currently ongoing. Candidates who want to fulfil their desire of becoming executive trainees can apply for the position at https://www.powergrid.in. The last tentative date to apply for the job is February 18, 2023.

Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2023: Selection Process

Depending on the GATE 2023 score, the applications will be selected. Candidates who pass the GATE 2023 score criteria will have to sit for the Group Interview. Those who pass the Group Interview round will have a final Personal Interview round. All these three rounds have different weightage during the selection process.

GATE 2023 scores have 85% weightage.
Group Interview has a 3% weightage.
Personal Interview has 12% weightage.

Power Grid Recruitment through GATE 2023: How to Apply?

The following is the step-by-step process to apply for the executive trainee positions:

Step 1: Log in to the GATE 2023 website and start filling out the application form.
Step 2: Upload the details and the documents required for verification. For the documents, you will be required to upload a coloured passport-size photograph, caste certificate, signature, disability certificate, age relaxation cum domicile certificate and discharge certificate for ex-servicemen (if applicable), and graduation mark sheet.
Step 3: Click on ‘Submit’. You will get a unique registration number.
Step 4: On the payment page, pay Rs. 500 for the application form. For ST, SC, PwD, and Ex-SM, the fee payment is exempted.
Step 4: Note the number and download the application form for further use.
