SIMC Admission 2025 Important Dates for Shortlist, GE-PI and Merit List

SIMC Admission 2025: SIMC admissions 2025 for PG programmes are based on the SNAP 2024 result but the score of SNAP is used only for preliminary shortlisting. The GE-PI (Group Exercise & Personal Interview) round for the MBA in Communication Management at SIMC Pune is an important round in the admission process. In this round, the candidates are judged on their communication skills, teamwork and problem solving abilities.

Following the GE-PI round, SIMC finalises a merit list determined by a candidate's overall performance in the SNAP Test, GE and PI. These components are all considered in a weighted score determinative of the final selection. A list of selected candidates into the program is published on the official SIMC website along with the merit list.

Typically, a GE consists of group discussions of current topics, or case studies, in which candidates show their skill at discussing thoughts and working with colleagues. This is followed by personal interviews where the applicant speaks more deeply on where their motivations come from, what they’ve experienced in regard to communication, and their understanding of the field.
