Symbiosis Institute of Media and Communication (SIMC) has initiated the online registration process for Master of Arts (MA) in Mass Communication course for the academic session 2018-20. An entrance test will be conducted by SIMC to assess the eligibility of candidates for the admission to MA in Mass Communication course. While submitting the online application form, the applicants must choose the specialisation that they wish to pursue.
Interested applicants must note that there is no change in the exam pattern for MA Mass Comm course at SIMC Pune. Further, the registration fee for the entrance exam has also been revised and reduced.

Eligibility for Admission to M.A. Course Offered by SIMC: -
- Graduate in any discipline is eligible for the admission to MA Mass Comm course.
- The minimum qualifying marks required in the graduate degree is 50% (45% for SC/ST).
- Final year UG students can also register for the course and entrance exam.
Application Process for SIMC M.A. Course: -
- Symbiosis International University (SIU) maintains an official website for SIMC where interested and eligible candidates can register.
- At the top of the homepage, the candidates can view the link for submitting an online application for M.A Mass Comm course.
- Click on the link and proceed with ‘New Registration’.
- Once the ‘Preliminary Registration’ process is completed, the candidates can proceed with online submission of application form, and payment of application fee.
- The application fee is Rs. 1,475 which can be paid online.
- Preview the application form after the payment of application fee and take a printout for reference purposes in future.
Selection Process of M.A. Mass Comm Course: -
- Performance in the entrance exam conducted by SIMC for the admission to M.A course is the basic criteria for shortlisting candidates for the subsequent rounds of selection process.
- Those selected will have to appear for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Panel Interview (PI).
- Based on a candidate’s performance in WAT and PI, the final selection will be made.
