Symbiosis International University (Lavale Campus) will host a conference on ‘Internationalisation of Higher Education 2017’ from April 8 to April 10, 2017. Association of Indian Universities or AIU is organizing the conference and the main theme of the conference is to prepare a road map to make higher education in India world-class. The conference will also focus on barriers that are restricting the Indian institutes to achieve that respectable status.

Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister of Human Resource and Development will inaugurate the conference. The conference will witness the participation of 100 vice-chancellors from various universities across the country, educational agencies, policy advisors, senior academicians and university representatives from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, United States and Europe.
One of the organizers of the conference revealed that they would present a paper to Javadekar on the roadmap of making Indian universities world-class. The prominent speakers at the conference will be: -
