On Tuesday i.e. 23 rd August’ 16, Symbiosis International University announced the change in weightage for SNAP 2016. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test popularly known as SNAP is conducted by the Symbiosis International University every year for students who wish to take admission in any one of their 15 Institutes.
Earlier the exam used to weigh 180 but according to the new pattern, the exam will be of 150 marks. There is a change in weightage but there is no change in the total number of questions and duration of the exam.
Following are the section in which changes are made.
- General Awareness
- Logical Reasoning

In Logical Reasoning, the total number of questions used to be 30 but this year there will be 40 question and in general awareness this year the total number of questions will be 30 which used to be 40. There is no change in the English and Data Interpretation sections.
SNAP 2016 is scheduled to take place on 18 th December’ 16 from 2 pm to 4 pm in offline mode. The result of the examination will be declared on 9 th January’ 16. Students who have registered and will be giving the exam note that there will be 25% negative marking for every incorrect answer.
