SOI to contest Delhi University Students Union Elections

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) has announced that its student’s wing - Students Organization of India (SOI) will contest Delhi University Students Union (DUSU) polls.

Apart from DUSU polls, President of SAD, Delhi Chapter has announced that SOI would also contest students’ polls in three colleges - Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College (North campus), Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce (Pitampura), and Guru Nanak Dev College (Dev Nagar).

"The students need to be given practical training to play a role bringing positive change in the country," GK reiterated.

GK also announced Gagandep Singh as the president of SOI in Delhi and Jasraj Singh as general secretary. Former MLA Harmeet Singh Kalka has been nominated as SAD coordinator with SOI.
Answering queries form media-persons GK said that SOI would spread message of selfless service to humanity, and working above religion given by the Sikh Gurus.
