A total number of 13,000 engineering seats have been filled out of 45,000 seats in 93 engineering colleges based on the All India JEE examination. The separate JEE is being conducted to fill up 32,000 vacant seats.
According to Orissa Professional Education Act, the admissions for engineering courses have to be conducted through separate OJEE examination. However, since 2011, the admissions are being conducted based on AIJEE score and the remaining admissions are being filled through separate OJEE.
