Budget carrier SpiceJet has collaborated with Amity University to introduce a three-year online degree programme in business administration which will also include a six-month certification programme in in-flight management.
The airlines launched the Spice Star Academy which will provide the aspiring cabin crew members with aviation and management skills. The academy will open different job avenues for the crew apart from restricting themselves to the aviation industry. The new programme will also help the students to earn while they learn which is still a budding concept in our country.

Ajay Singh, Chairman SpiceJet, stated that the new academy will provide a platform to aspiring men and women to develop their skills and nurture their talent through the training programmes. He further said this management programme will open new horizons for them in different sectors.
Apart from this, the programme also assures a confirmed placement to its students in SpiceJet itself with a salary package of Rs. 8 lakh per annum on successful completion of the BBA degree.

SpiceJet is expanding its business both in domestic and international routes. They have added more than 200 Boeing aircrafts this year which will require around 6,000 crew members. It is one of the fastest growing aviation companies in the country which has provided employment to thousands of people and is catering to the needs of almost half of the nation in the aviation sector.
