The Design Innovation Centre of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) is all set to organise a workshop on the subject ‘Creative Careers in Design’. The workshop will be of a duration of one day and will be held on 8th June 2019, Saturday.
There will be 60 seats in the workshop and it will be conducted at the New Chemistry Building which is at the Department of Chemistry in Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). It is estimated that the workshop will commence at around 11 a.m. and end at 6 p.m.
This workshop on ‘Creative Careers in Design’ will be open for the students who have cleared class 12th, graduates, postgraduates, research students, working officials (who have an aptitude for design), and college faculties. The Dean of Science and Technology at Savitribai Phule Pune University, A. D. Shaligram will organise the workshop.

The teachers, students, individuals, and faculty members who are interested in participating in this workshop can visit the official website of SPPU and register themselves there.
The Design Innovation Centre is also going to conduct several diplomae and certificate courses. All these courses will be of a duration of 6 to 12 months and they will begin in the month of July 2019. The topics on which these diploma and certificate courses will be held are Plant Growth Improvement, Chromatographic Techniques, Computer Aided Product Design, Watershed Management, and Sensor Technology. The last date to apply online is 3rd June 2019, Monday.

The Design Innovation Centre (abbreviated as DIC) was established at Savitribai Phule Pune University in the year 2015. It has since been a DIC Hub Centre which has three-spoke centres at Ahmednagar, Vigyan Ashram (Pabal), and Nashik.
