Savitribai Phule Pune University which has already started with the online application process for admission to the undergraduate, postgraduate, graduate, integrated and interdisciplinary courses has now released the exam date and pattern.
Students looking forward to SPPU admission will have to appear for the online entrance exam (OEE) which will be held in the first week of August. The last date to apply for the exam is on or before June 30, 2020. Those who haven't applied yet can do the same by logging into unipune.ac.in
The exam will have a duration of two hours and comprise two parts. The total marks will be 100. Section A will have questions on aptitude, logic, general knowledge and comprehension for 20 marks. Section B will include subject-specific questions for 80 marks. It is compulsory to attempt both parts. For every incorrect answer, one-third marks will be cut, according to the rule.

If there are two students who have scored equal marks in OEE, preference will be given to the students whose score is more in section B. In case, students have equal marks in section B as well, preference will be given to the marks secured in the qualifying exam as per the university rule. To know more about the syllabus for the entrance exam of each course, students can visit the webpage of the respective university departments. According to the government of Maharashtra rules, 30 per cent seats will be reserved for female candidates for all UG courses. Candidates who are on the lookout for reserved or supernumerary seats need to ensure that they have their respective documents with them.
The official admit card will also be released five days before the commencement of the online exam. No other certificate will be issued by the university. An application fee of Rs.500 has to be paid for each course. For candidates belonging to reserved categories, this fee is Rs.350.
