Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Dr. Nitin Karmalkar connected with students via radio to address their grievances and problems. SPPU has launched a monthly programme called ‘You’re Questions, the VC Answers (Prashna Tumche, Uttar Kulagurunche)’. The Q & A session took place at SPPU’s internal community radio, ‘Vidyawani’.
The first episode of the programme was recorded on October 27, 2017, and will be aired on November 1, 2017, at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM. During the recording of the first episode, VC of SPPU interacted and answered questions raised by students on different topics ranging from campus interviews to ‘earn while you learn’ programme of SPPU.

The programme will be conducted once in a month enabling students to ask questions on any topic via phone-ins which will be recorded. Since ‘Vidyawani’ records the entire episode in advance, an official announcement will be made on the same day. Students will have to call a specific number at a particular time and pose their questions. Later, the VC of SPPU will hear the questions separately and record his answers for each one of them. Direct interaction is not possible as it will not be a live session.
