Sri Aurobindo Centre of Arts and Communication has opened the application process for Vedica Scholars Programme for Women for the academic session 2017-18. The main objective of the programme is to prepare women with the potential to achieve fulfilling careers. The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women is a unique alternative to the traditional MBA course. It a full-time residential postgraduate programme, and the duration of the programme is 18 months. The curriculum of the course is designed carefully that will help women to navigate through professional challenges in the 21 st century.
The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women consists of courses that are divided into four tracks: -
- Personal Growth & Leadership
- Thinking & Communicating for Impact
- Liberal Arts
- Management Practice
Through this course, the participants will get a world class exposure, and the faculty members are hand-picked from various renowned professional and academic institutions across the globe like Stanford University, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) , Max Healthcare, Boston Consulting Group and many others.
The participants will also get access to a month-long course, i.e., ‘Shadow Women CEO Programme’. It is an integral part of Vedica Scholars Programme for Women. The one month CEO programme will offer a distinctive opportunity for the students to work with senior women professionals that will add to the learning process.
The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women also comprises of a series of classroom learning, mentorship programme, facilitated discussions and seminars. These activities help scholars discover their unique style of leadership. Vedica is always committed in grooming benchmark professionals.
Interested women candidates can apply to this programme for which the minimum qualification is a graduate degree. The applicants must also have the zeal to excel professionally. There is no application fee, and the applications are approved on a rolling basis. The spots will be filled on the first-come-first-serve basis.
