Sri Ramchandra University (SRU) signed an MoU with Voluntary Health Services (VHS) to improve healthcare and undertake joint research at the Taramani centre on September 19. The MoU was signed by Chancellor Dr JSN Murthy and VHS honorary secretary Dr S Suresh.
This states that doctors from SRU will come to VHS to provide patient services and also look into pathological and radiological services. Students will focus on the needs and health problems of urban communities.
According to Dr Suresh, this MoU will allow students to understand community healthcare better. Also, VHS was a perfect destination for emergency and trauma care and was a pioneer in community health.
