SVM Graduates students are showing interest to pursue the Master courses in commerce in SVU and its affiliated colleges. In the last two years many students are opting for the same due to the increase in the job opportunities in the respective field.
In Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) , the commerce graduates students are interested in pursuing a Master's degree in Commerce in SVU and its affiliated college from the past two years due to the increasing job opportunities. Students are choosing M.Com courses because of various businesses organizations were set up in and around the Tirupati in Chittoor district in Sri City (Satyavedu). These businesses organizations require staff with computer and accounting backgrounds.
In SVUCET-2019, 9,600 students have appeared for the entrance test for the admission in various subjects. As per the entrance test, 1800 students were selected for the M.Com in commerce and computers, 1500 students were selected for M.Sc in Computer Science & 1500 were selected for M.Sc. in Chemistry. After that, there are only 200 seats available for the M.Com program for the SVU and for other private colleges in Madanapalle, Tirupati, and Chittoor.

The demand for qualified accountants and income tax professionals is on rising after the implementation of GST in the country. This is also one of the primary reasons why students want to study M.Com program. Professor Deva Prasad, Joint Director of Admissions, said that the number of jobs available for the M.Com students has increased over the two years.
SVU University is one of the most popular colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The SVU university is popular among the students and every year thousands of students apply for admissions at the university.
