As part of the final academic project that the students at the SRKR Engineering College have to partake in, Six students had come together to work upon a fire-fighting robot. G Kavya, K Bargav Verma, G Ashok, I H Nivas, K S V Mahesh, TS Tarun Reddy are the six students, pursuing their final year in Mechanical Engineering , who are responsible for creating the fire-fighting robot. The Robot had been showcased to the Head of Mechanical department, Dr K Brahma Raju.

Dr K Brahma Raju had congratulated the students for achieving this task and for creating an innovative and useful solution. He further added that the students had achieved the feat with meagre funds of just ₹18,000. He also stated that this was the first fire-fighting robot to have been created in such a low amount.
