The SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam will be conducted from August 8 to August 10, as per the SSC Calendar 2022. The Staff Selection Commission released the admit card for the exam on its official portal on July 29. Besides preparing for the national-level recruitment test, candidates also need to prepare for the exam day. It is important that they go through all the instructions and guidelines provided by the administering body in order to avoid mistakes and last-minute hassles on the day of the exam.
Students appearing for the SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam must be aware of the essential documents that need to be carried on the exam day for verification. It is to be noted that the verification process will be conducted prior to candidates’ entry into the examination hall, so they must report to the centre at least an hour before the scheduled time.
SSC CGL 2022 – Documents to Carry on the Exam Day
Candidates can check out the list of documents that need to be carried on the day of the SSC CGL 2022 exam day:
A copy of the SSC CGL 2022 Admit Card
A valid ID proof issued by the Government – Aadhaar Card/PAN Card/Voter ID/Passport/Driving license
ID Card issued by the university/college/school
Service ID Card issued by the Central/State Government or PSUs
Ex-Servicemen Discharge Book issued by the Ministry of Defense
Birth Certificate
Applicants are advised to keep the abovementioned documents ready in a folder at least a day or two prior to the exam date to ensure they do not miss or lose them. They must also note that without the SSC CGL 2022 Hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to sit for the exam.
SSC CGL 2022 – Important Exam Day Guidelines to Follow
The below instructions as mentioned in the SSC CGL 2022 Admit Card must be followed strictly by aspirants for the smooth commencement of the exam:
Candidates must reach the exam centre before the reporting time to allow time for document verification and security check.
Candidates must avoid crowding outside the SSC CGL exam centre.
Students are strictly advised not to carry rough sheets and pens, as they will be provided inside the exam hall.
Students must not carry any of the barred items inside the exam hall.
Candidates must carry all the important documents mentioned above.
Students are advised to follow all the Covid-19 safety norms – maintaining a safe distance, wearing masks, carrying sanitizer bottles etc.
Candidates must also go through the thermal screening at the entry gate.
Students are advised to stick to the SSC CGL 2022 dress code only.
