The annual technical event at Vincent Palloti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur named TECHNEX 2K16 was held on 22 January 2016. The event had four major events comprising of -AquaBoat, RoboCorn, CraneBot, Master Slave

Teams from all across India participated in the event. The event is one of the major technical event is Nagpur. HOD of Electronics Mr.Manish Kapse guided students to organise event successfully. The event started on 21st January followed by Annual Event Insight 2016.
The students co-ordinator for the event were Sumant Amdekar, Ankit Ranade, Ravi Pandey, Rajat Akre, Ameya Karade, Abhilash Sakarkar, Shubham, Rajurkar, Samrudhi Vaidya, and Minal Kamdi.
The first winning team was from Sant Gadge Baba College of Engineering in Bhusaval Maharashtra and the team from Chennai College of Engineering stood second.
Winners were given cash prizes and participating teams were awarded participation certificates.
