NEET UG 2022 Steps to Challenge Answer Key
Follow the steps given below to challenge the NEET 2022 Provisional Answer Key released by the conducting body:
Go to the official website of NTA NEET @ neet.nta.nic.in and under the button titled 'Candidate’s Activity', click on “Apply for Answer Key Challenge (s)” and select your ‘Test Booklet Code’.
In the landing page, find the login window, where you have to log in using credentials such as the Application Number and the Date of Birth. After successful login, all questions will be displayed on the screen with the number in the column next to it showing the option as per NEET Answer Key 2022.
Four columns given next to it are for the candidate to tick as per the option they believe to be correct.
In the last column, upload a PDF file only of the supporting proof documents by clicking on ‘Choose File’. Once done, click on ‘Save your Claim’. A confirmation page will appear. Once again select ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’ (if further changes are not required).
The candidate will now be taken to an online payment window. Using Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking (only online payment will be valid), the candidates must pay a non-refundable challenge processing of INR 1000/- to confirm the submission of the claim. Download and print the challenge receipt thereafter and keep it safely for future use.
Important Points to Note
Note the following points if you plan to challenge the NEET 2022 Answer Key:
If there is no official receipt of the challenge fee, then the challenge will not be considered.
Experts in the subjects will check the objections and verify. If found plausible, the answer key will be corrected accordingly.
Based on the revised final answer key of NEET 2022, the final result will be drawn up and announced.
The answer key released after the experts verify all challenge claims made will be final.
In case of recorded OMR response sheet answer marking challenge, each question challenged will require a challenge fee of INR 200 via online mode. If the NTA finds that there is indeed a fault on their part, the changes will be made and the candidate will get back their money.
