P. Ashok, final year ECE student of Kallem Haranadhareddy Institute of Technology got placed in a reputed Bangalore bases software company Infosys. On this occasion, the college management conducted a press meet on 13-May-2016 to congratulate the student. The interview was held at NIT Computers, Vijayawada.
College principal, Dr. CH Srinivasa Rao said that “A total number of 5 students attended the interview. Three rounds of interview were conducted which included a preliminary written test, technical round and personal interview. Out of 5 students 3 students selected for final round of interview and Ashok got selected in the final round. The student has been selected at annual package of Rs. 1,75,000. The college has a good placement percentage. A total number of 142 students got placed in campus placements conducted in academic year 2015-2016. Students brought various laurels to the college by participating in various competitions”.
Final year ECE student Ashok said, “The college management and faculty have been very supportive. The college has been consistently working to assure maximum placements. The college has a skills development center in which students are being trained in soft skills”.
The student was congratulated by the college director, Dr. M. Uma Shankar Reddy, HOD of ECE department, Prof. Surya Narayana and others.
