At the regional round of the 13 th edition of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2017, students of Indian Institute of Management-Indore grabbed both the top and runners-up slots defeating 175 other teams on Saturday, 25 February 2017. The institute’s Leo Francis and Avijeet Singh Boparai grabbed top positions and Arjun Bansal and Chandra Goyal won the runners-up position.
The zonal final will be held in Hyderabad. All the winners will compete with six other teams in the zonal finals. The national finalists will receive a cash prize of INR 5,00,000 with the much sought-after Tata Crucible Trophy.

Other four stage finalist teams are-
- Anurag and Chiranjeev from School of Law
- Piyush Lalwani and Paramita Majumdar IIPS
- Arzoo Khare and Uddeshya Pathak from IET
- Prajakta Muley and Ashish Nagar of IMS, DAVV
The regional round winners will compete in zonal finals of the quiz competition. The zonal finals will be held in five cities all over the country. These cities are - New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Coimbatore.
Each zone will send top two teams for the finals who will fiercely fight to win Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2017, which will be held in Mumbai in the month of April 2017.

Organised by TATA group, 'Tata Crucible Quiz' looks for the sharpest young minds. The competition was started in 2004 to commemorate the death centenary J.N. Tata - the Founder of the Tata Group and the birth centenaries of the Group's illustrious leaders such as Naval H. Tata and J.R.D. Tata. The event received a huge response from the students and has now become one of the leading annual quiz events of the country.
